    3. You may want to start with the larger areas first and then work your way to the smaller ones. This will help you keep track of the painting system and it will also show you more of the image as you progress in the painting process.
    4. It can be helpful to organize the painting process by starting with the dark colors first. This not only makes it easier to paint the subject, but can also help you figure out how the light and dark colors correspond with each other and what effect they have.
